Safeguarding

At Somervale the safety of our students is at the for front of our minds at all times. With this is mind we have set up this page to give our parents and carers a place they can go to get information to do with our procedures and information about Safeguarding.

We endeavour to educate all students on how to keep themselves safe through our carefully planned PSHE lessons, regular assemblies on a range of related issues, student mentoring.  Our pastoral care system ensures that students see their tutors twice daily and are able to rely on their tutor as a support and source of advice where necessary.

Our provision is always under review and responds to new or growing national and local concerns as appropriate.
