Q When is the best time to book my appointments?
A The sooner the better.  All parents of students will be booking appointments.  If you leave it until the last minute you may not be able to book all the appointments you need.

Q Can I book appointments in advance for other Parents' Evenings other than for the current year group?
A No. Please note that the Parents' Evening Booking System is not open to all year groups at all times of the year.  There will be a window when each year group will be available to book and we will inform parents via email of when this will be in advance.

Q I do not seem to be able to log into the site
A The details you put into the website are linked to the data you have previously supplied to us and is held on our computer systems.  The reason you cannot log in is usually down to a spelling error.  If you continue to experience problems you will need to contact the school.  For Data Protection Act reasons, we cannot just issue this information to anyone and you will need to write to the school.  Please pass these requests to the Head’s PA in the first instance.  In your correspondence you will need to identify your name and the student’s name.

Q I would like to make an appointment to see the SEN Co.
A If your child is on the SEN register, then groups will appear on your booking page for Special Educational Needs.  You can select this group and make a booking.

Q My child takes the Applied Learning Course, but only one of their teachers  appear on the list
A Your child will have a number of teachers for this subject.  It would not be practical for you to book appointments with all of them.  We have nominated one member of staff who will be responsible on the evening for giving you an update on your child’s progress.  They will have all the information from the other teachers of the course.  If you have any concerns then this teacher will feed back to the other teachers on the course.

Q I have tried to make an appointment but cannot make the times that are available
A Please contact the school and talk to the Assistant Head of Key Stage who will contact the teacher to see what can be done.

Q The teacher I want to see has no appointment left
A Please contact the teacher concerned through your child’s homework diary, requesting a suitable time on the evening or for a telephone conversation at another appropriate time.

Q There appears to be two science teachers on the list.  Which teacher do I select?
A Your child is taught by two science teachers.  You only need to book an appointment with one of them.  We have nominated a member of staff who will be responsible on the evening for updating you on their progress.  Your child should have been informed by their science teachers about who to make the appointment with.  The students are taught in groups with codes.  These codes have been included on the booking pages to assist in selecting the teacher.
