Here at Somervale we recognise the importance of enriching our students’ experiences beyond the immediate curriculum and classroom. That is why we offer a vast range of Extended Services across the school from sporting clubs to arts and crafts, trips and special events.
As a school we have always had close links to the wider community and this has been expanded upon with the Midsomer Norton Schools’ Partnership and our continuing work with Somer Valley 97.5 FM. Students are also actively encouraged to lead their own groups and make the most of their time and the variety of facilities available to them here at Somervale.
